Doug
Happy Client
Chris has been looking after our pond and any plumbing issues we have had for years now, he is very professional and personal and I would highly recommend him to anyone who may need his services.
Lucas
Happy Client
I have used Chris at Upper Grand Plumbing Solutions several times for plumbing issues at my house. He is always quick to respond and seem very knowledgeable about what may have caused the problem and what needs to be done to fix it. He comes in and does the work and their rates are very reasonable, so I don’t feel “ripped off” like I have with some other trades that I have used in the past. I would not hesitate to call them again if I had a plumbing issue to resolve or work that I wanted done.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does our well pump run when we are not using water?
This is normally a sign that there is a leak in the plumbing supply system.
Is there any way to increase our water pressure?
In most cases the water pressure is not the concern, it is the volume of flow that we want to increase. There are regulations in place to cap flow rates at fixtures but there are many circumstances that suggest there may be a problem with the supply system.
Our water smells like chlorine and skin seems to be irritated.
Chlorine is added to municipal water to help manage contaminates on route to the consumer. There are methods of removing chlorine as the supply enters your home.
Our sump pump runs frequently in the spring, is there anything we can do to ensure it works properly?
Prior to the spring thaw you can ensure the pump is working properly by tipping the float to ensure the pump runs and shuts off when the float is dropped down. Make sure the pit is clear of debris and the discharge outside is not blocked. There are systems that you may want to consider including a battery back up system and a high water alarm.
We do not use our basement bathroom, why is there an unpleasant smell?
All fixture drains have traps. These traps are all designed to hold water for the sole purpose of keeping sewer gas out of occupied spaces. When fixtures are not used these traps dry out because of evaporation. When this happens sewer gas can enter the space.
